Sugar, founded in 1992 by Bob Mould (Hüsker Dü) together with bassist David Barbe and drummer Malcolm Travis, quickly enjoyed great success with their celebrated debut album "Copper Blue". The album is considered one of the most influential of the 90s thanks to its mix of catchy melodies and powerful guitar playing. The follow-up albums "Beaster" and "File Under: Easy Listening" cemented the band´s reputation before they disbanded in 1995.
Thirty years later, Sugar are now back together and have announced new concert dates, including three nights at New York´s Webster Hall and two at London´s O₂ Kentish Town Forum. To mark this anniversary, the band is releasing two brand new songs - "House of Dead Memories" and "Long Live Love" - which are now available on black 7-inch vinyl for the first time.
1 Side A – House of Dead Memories
2 Side B – Long Live Love
