The free jazz collective Irreversible Entanglements is back! It has already been compared to artists such as John and Alice Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders and the gruffness of punk. Yet the music of the American quintet is unmistakable and unique. Now they are back with their second Impulse! album "Future Present Past", which was once again recorded in the legendary Rudy Van Gelder Studio. In it, the quintet once again fuses dynamic, atmospheric jazz, global musical traditions, spoken word and clear political positions.
