Queen - A Night At The Opera (1975) (50th Anniversary) (Clear Vinyl)

Queen´s masterpiece, A Night At The Opera, was released on 28th November, 1975. It was the album that cemented the band´s place in the pantheon of supreme rock bands and songwriters, all in one fell swoop.

As one of the most groundbreaking records in rock history, A Night At The Opera blended multiple musical styles, and showcased Queen´s musicianship, ambition and innovation, with "Bohemian Rhapsody" as its centrepiece.
The song defied all convention, combining elements of opera, vaudeville, and rock into a single six minute epic, which Queen released as a single in full, without any edit.

In addition to "Bohemian Rhapsody", A Night At The Opera also delivered fan-favourite "Love Of My Life" and the single "You´re My Best Friend", both of which further showcased Queen´s versatility and songwriting range.

The LP gave Queen their first UK Number One album, topping the British charts for four weeks, and became the band´s first platinum album in the US.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Queen are pleased to announce the released of A Night At The Opera in a special 180g clear vinyl edition, on 18th October 2025.
