"Obscured By Clouds" is Pink Floyd´s seventh longplayer. The album was originally released on June 3, 1972 and is based on their soundtrack to the French film La Vallée.
The recordings for "Obscured By Clouds" took place in the Château-d´Hérouville studios near Paris. They lasted just two weeks.
It was also the first album on which Pink Floyd used a synthesizer.
