Details
As on her 1962 debut, FRANCOISE HARDY also looked enigmatic and seductive from the cover of her follow-up "Le Premier Bonheur Du Jour". On the album itself, the sound had changed along with her vision and voice.
Where "Tous Les Garçons Et Les Filles" was realized by a series of collaborators who struggled to understand her vision, the following album was a closer look at FRANCOISE HARDY´s identity. in 1963, when SERGE GAINSBOURG was just dipping a toe into the concept of pop and the term "Yé-Yé" was just emerging, HARDY was a rare phenomenon: a singer/songwriter with her own material who was far from being a folk singer. Hardy was produced here by Marcel Hendrix. In addition to her own compositions, she dedicated her version of "L´Amour D´Un Garcon" to "The Love Of A Boy" by BURT BACHARACH and HAL DAVID.
Each album contains reproductions of the covers of albums and singles released worldwide for each album considered. A must for all fans.
