Järgmine peatükk kureeritud vintaaži on jõudnud plaadile! “Groove of ESSR III” võtab taas ette Eesti muusikalise pärandi, mille ilmumist ja rahvusvahelist levikut pärssis raudne eesriie. Aastatel 1971–1983 salvestatud 11 pala on enamasti nende artistide loodud, kes sündisid juba Nõukogude Liidu okupatsiooni ajal. Neil oli aga sugulasi Läänes ja antennid suunatud Soome raadiosignaalide poole. Nii leiti suletud maailmas julgus avastada laia maailma helisid ja luua nende pinnalt ise kohati üllatavalt piiritut muusikat.

Groove of ESSR III marks the next chapter in highlighting the musical heritage trapped behind the Iron Curtain during the Soviet occupation. Funk Embassy Records is proud to present this piece of history on a 12”, 180g vinyl with a printed innersleeve full of notes, as well as digitally. The tracklist spans recordings from 1971–1983 by Estonian artists, most of whom were born under a foreign regime after the war. Nevertheless, they had relatives in the West and antennas tuned in to Finnish radio signals. In a closed-off world, they had the courage to explore the groove without borders.
